From a Seed to a Tree

As a young boy, I walked into medical exam rooms re-living my worst nightmare. I’m a toy, subject to poke, prod, push, and pull in every direction only to discover the same message.

A miserable life with a diagnosis I’m born with - a disability. How do we move forward? When we’re drowning in fear while thinking: “this condition/circumstance is going to kill me.” What we do and who surrounds us in those moments matters.

This is how the power of your compassionate care can change lives to adapt and thrive.
